i will not bash certain parties
and praise others
you all have your own ideas
about what is important
and i trust that our generation
can make their own decisions.
and the right decisions for our future.

i do
however
want to stress
the importance of women and women's rights.

in feminist philosophy
the concept of autonomy is crucial.

without autonomy
without the right to make decisions
about our bodies
and our selves
we are not fully human.

if we are not fully human
we are not fully respected in our communities
women will bear the brunt of this every single day
in subtle ways
in obvious ways
in violent ways.

just think about what would happen
if you suppress half your population

do not let half of your community become oppressed.
